Bringing Vision to Life: Tailored Solutions for Lestra Entreprenad

We’re always excited to take on projects that challenge us to innovate, especially when it involves creating something new for our clients. Recently, we had the opportunity to work with Lestra Entreprenad on a project that showcased the strength of collaboration and our specialized knowledge.

The Bigger Picture

Lestra Entreprenad is a multifaceted company, managing businesses like Trygglek, a playground equipment provider, and Svetsruv, a metal construction firm. They handle numerous government contracts, making their new headquarters a critical hub for their operations. The facility, where we completed the installation, features a large workshop and storage space on the lower level, with offices and conference rooms on the upper levels. This project perfectly balanced the client’s needs with Effektgruppen’s technical expertise, clear communication, and seamless collaboration.

Project Overview

The project involved installing multiple conference room booking screens and a wayfinder screen. Initially, we were contacted by Filip and Jack from Lestra to handle these installations, and it quickly became a great opportunity for us to test some newly developed features. Though the project progressed smoothly, a few adjustments were made along the way. The client wanted to add an array of security cameras to the setup. Our team adapted quickly to these changes, ensuring that the client’s evolving needs were met without disruption.

Conference Screens and Security Cameras

For this office space, which houses eight conference rooms, we teamed up with OneDisplay, a digital signage software company, and introduced a new conference booking screen system that was customised for Lestra’s internal management system. Using custom screens and OneDisplay software, we created a solution that allows the client to easily manage and book meeting rooms, streamlining day-to-day office operations.

Additionally, security was a top priority for the client. To address this, we installed both perimeter and interior cameras, using UniFi G5 Dome and G5 Turret cameras integrated into a UniFi Protect system. These cameras provide comprehensive surveillance for the facility, offering peace of mind and a robust security solution for Lestra Entreprenad.

What made this project particularly rewarding was the flexibility and trust we experienced from Lestra. Instead of dictating every detail, the client allowed us the freedom to present different options and collaborate on the best solutions. Whether it was the security camera setup or the conference room booking system, we provided a range of options that allowed the client to balance both functionality and budget.
